The Persimmon Tree Father and Sons

Japanese art form of storytelling, "kamishiba" with Japanese scholar and animator Tina Zadnik.

On 10 June 2025, at the Damir Feigel Slovenian Library in Gorizia, Japanese art form of storytelling "kamishibai" will be used to tell the inspiring story of a tree that survived the atomic bomb attack in Nagasaki, by the Japanologist and animator Tina Zadnik. The performance is part of the series of events of the international project Revive Time: Kaki Tree Project, which spreads the idea of peace and encourages the audience to connect, cooperate and appreciate life. The project is led by the Academy of Arts of the University of Nova Gorica.
