You are warmly invited to a lecture by art historian Dr. Alenka Di Battista and ethnologist Dr. Jasna Fakin Bajec. They will discuss the values that define Ravnikar’s blocks and the importance of collaboration with the local community.
The event will focus on the modernist heritage of Nova Gorica, with a special emphasis on the area of Ravnikar’s / Russian blocks along the southern part of Kidričeva Street. Original plans will be presented, including implemented and unrealized urbanistic and architectural designs, and above all, the diverse values that still define these blocks today.
