Summer in Vipavski Križ: European Spirit of Youth Orchestra

On Friday, 1 August 2025, you are warmly invited to attend a concert of the summer tour titled United Together – GO! 2025, for a Europe of good friends, performed by an orchestra composed of young selected musicians arriving from Europe and Asia to the land of the first cross-border European Capital of Culture.
The ESYO Youth Orchestra – European Spirit of Youth Orchestra, under the direction of Igor Coretti Kuret, offers young and talented European musicians a unique opportunity for high-level artistic and professional training in orchestral performance – and, just as importantly, an unforgettable personal experience for many.
For several years, the ESYO Orchestra has performed under the high patronage of governmental institutions such as the European Parliament and the European Commission. In the first thirty years of its activity, approximately three thousand young musicians from 25 different countries (both European and non-European) have played in the ESYO Orchestra. Many of them now perform in top orchestral ensembles across Europe and around the world. This year’s summer tour, "United Together – GO! 2025, for a Europe of good friends", taking place in Slovenia and Italy, also celebrates the first cross-border European Capital of Culture.
Programme:
- F. Mendelssohn Bartholdy – Overture to A Midsummer Night’s Dream
- L. van Beethoven – Pastoral Symphony
Before each event, we recommend a one-hour guided tour of Vipavski Križ, including a wine tasting, organized by the Vipavski Križ Institute.
Advance reservations are required at: info@vipavskikriz.si or by phone at +386 31 229 336.
Free admission | In case of rain, the event will be cancelled.
