Soundscapes II—Field Recording Workshop
The Field Recording Workshop introduces the influences of sound art, installation, architecture, and sound design, using environmental recordings as a base.
Join us for the workshop led by Simon Šerc and Martina Testen, internationally renowned audiovisual artists. Their work has been featured in media such as The Guardian, BBC Radio, and The Wire, and their soundtracks have been selected among the best field soundtrack albums.
Workshop topics:
- Theories and recording techniques,
- Use of software for editing and analyzing recordings,
- Filtering and use of sonograms,
- Field recording with practical instructions,
- Creation of sound palettes.
The workshop is open to everyone, both experts and beginners, and no prior knowledge is required.
