Riflettori sul Nord-Est

"Riflettori sul Nord-Est," now in its 8th edition, is a literary event on the border born within the framework of the International Literary Award "Latisana per il Nord-Est," which this year celebrates its 32nd edition, culminating in the award ceremony scheduled for the evening of Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Teatro Odeon in Latisana.

The events of "Riflettori sul Nord-Est" dedicated to the public (free and open to everyone until all available seats are taken) are scheduled as follows: Wednesday, February 26 at 6:00 PM at the conference hall of the Polifunctional Center in Latisana: researcher Tommaso Vidal will lead the conference "Gorizia and Latisana in the Middle Ages.

The history of Latisana under the dominion of the County of Gorizia." Thursday, March 6 at 6:00 PM at the conference hall of the former Equestrian Station in Latisana: Liliana Cargnelutti and Mariagrazia Santoro will present their book "TONI CESTER TOSO. 

LA STORIA DI UNA PROFESSIONISTA" (Gaspari) during a meeting titled "The genius loci of Toni Cester Toso (100 years since his birth)," moderated by Elena Commessatti and Federica Ravizza.

Exclusively for schools, the following events are scheduled: Friday, March 7 at 11:30 AM at the main hall of ISIS Mattei in Latisana: author Simone Petralia will present his book "LE RIBELLI: OTTO SCIENZIATE CHE HANNO CAMBIATO IL MONDO"(Scienza Express) in a meeting in collaboration with SISSA Medialab, led by Federica Sgorbissa.

Thursday, March 13 at 9:00 AM at the "Edmondo de Amicis" Primary School in Staranzano (GO): Chiara Carminati will present her book 54 SECONDI DI RITARDO (Il Castoro), in a storytelling meeting with a workshop for children. 

This year, the focus of Riflettori sul Nord-Est is on women, extraordinary female authors and protagonists, and the city of Gorizia, the protagonist of the year with GO!2025. The event is organized in collaboration with C.A.M.P.P. U.E.T. Ad Maiora of Latisana, C.A.M.P.P. U.E.T. Stazione Riva of Rivarotta di Teor, Cartolibreria Il Papiro of Latisana, Nemesi - Centro Epoché of Latisana, SISSA Medialab, and Station - Fermata Giovani (C.A.G.) of Latisana.

The partners of the 2025 edition of Riflettori sul Nord-Est are the Municipality of Staranzano, the ISIS "Enrico Mattei" of Latisana, and C.A.M.P.P. Consorzio Assistenza Medico Psico Pedagogica.
