RECITAL FOR ELENA LIPIZER – SPELLS AND ENCHANTMENTS, FROM EAST TO WEST

Roberto CAPPELLO – pianist Opening address by Antonio DE NICOLO

Roberto Cappello has developed a transcendental technique, a highly refined artistic and spiritual sensibility, and a consistent cultural commitment in his choice of repertoire, aimed at bringing out its finest qualities.

Following his victory in the First Prize at the ‘F. Busoni’ International Piano Competition, he embarked on a prestigious concert career that has seen him perform in the world’s most important theatres, as a soloist, with orchestras and in chamber ensembles.

Alongside his intense concert schedule, he is actively involved in teaching, giving masterclasses, seminars and advanced courses, and is regularly invited to chair the juries of national and international piano competitions.

In this concert, he presents a programme of rarely performed works with a captivating atmosphere, which is sure to enthral the audience.

The concert will be introduced by a talk from Dr De Nicolo, who will discuss the programme and the life of Elena Lipizer, his piano teacher, to whom the concert is dedicated.
