Official Opening of Textile Art Biennial BIEN 2025 in Palazzo Lantieri
We warmly invite you to the official opening of the Biennial of Textile Art BIEN 2025.
You are warmly invited to the official opening of the Textile Art Biennial BIEN 2025, which will take place on Saturday, 20 June 2025, at 18:00, in the Fresco Hall of the Lantieri Palace in Gorizia.
The opening will feature outstanding contemporary textile artists:
- Ellen Dynebrink from Sweden,
- Eta Borjan Litovski from North Macedonia, recipient of this year's award,
- Kristi Komel from Nova Gorica.
The evening will conclude with a special solstice conversation with artist Marko Pogačnik, whose presence will offer reflections on art, space, and time.
The opening in Gorizia marks the central event of this year’s biennial, which, after exhibitions in Kranj, Škofja Loka, Idrija, and Jesenice, arrives in the European Capital of Culture with a rich and diverse artistic programme.
You are also invited to explore exhibitions at 30 diverse locations, open to visitors until 14 August 2025.
