New frontiers for the culture of care

The event is organized in the following sessions: Lectio Magistralis: the challenges of the culture of care.

Working sessions: Active aging, a lifelong journey through the pedagogy of aging Long Life Learning; The care of those who care, people and professionals at the center of services for frailty, disability, non-self-sufficiency, between relationship and continuous training; Home care, as a meeting of people and qualified assistance: exchange of training experiences;

The challenges in the European future: cultural in the care processes and in continuous training, technological in the support of Artificial Intelligence AI; Contributions, testimonies, good practices.

The Cross-Border Event for Quality of Care Services in Long-Term Care Services focuses on improving the practices and quality of social services care provided to people who require continuous and long-term care, often due to chronic diseases, disabilities or ageing. In the context of a cross-border event, Italy and Slovenia meet to share experiences, discuss policies and regulations, as well as explore opportunities for collaboration between health and care systems.

The main objective of this type of event is to improve the quality of care and ensure that people receive adequate and dignified support, regardless of their geographical location. The main areas of discussion and activities in an event include Sharing best practices with presentation of different approaches and models of long-term care, evaluating the effectiveness of implemented policies and strategies used to improve care.

There is an opportunity during the event to discuss the use of new advanced technologies, to improve access to services and the quality of care. Another topic of certain interest is the Training of staff, in order to guarantee empathetic, competent care, adapted to the specific needs of individual users.

There is an intention to briefly discuss Health and regulatory policies to compare minimum quality standards and ways of accessing long-term care services. Another session is dedicated to the experiences of users and families to improve the satisfaction of patients and their families, bringing out their needs and expectations.
