A concert dedicated to the project Mountains without borders. Julius Kugy and the music of the landscape, with a look towards infinity and beyond.

In the sweet landscape of Collio, where borders are now blurred and languages have always mixed, the concert invites you to enjoy Nature by celebrating its enchantment through music, a delightful pastime also of the mountaineer, botanist, writer and humanist Julius Kugy (1858-1944), an eclectic figure steeped in Central European cultures to whom the evening is dedicated, thanks to a path promoted by SOMSI Pordenone in homage to the themes of GO! 2025.

Austrian on his father's side, Slovenian on his mother's, born in Gorizia but actually from Trieste, a lover of the peaks from the Julian Alps to the ancient routes on the Friulian Dolomites, Kugy is the subtle spirit that guides us in this program chosen to make its bewitching call gush forth on the notes of Water.
