SAB 10.05 - 16:00 Inauguration of the FAMU walking route in Gorizia: guided performance event with local artists @ Piazzale della Pace - Straccis district of Gorizia - - Play, storytelling, urban exploration: these will be the ingredients of the workshop with the mapping of hidden places to explore starting from the Straccis district of Gorizia and the creation of a path for the citizenship among abandoned places, ephemeral works and glimpses of unnoticed architectures.

FAMU offers uncluttered exhibition routes and manifests itself through the celebration of walking together with communities.

That ‘wandering as an art form, as a primary act of transformation of the territory’ (F. Careri, Walkscapes. Einaudi Editore).

FAMU Gorizia is one of the four artistic residencies of the MONDOMINIO project, a path of multimedia narration and ethnographic research in the four capitals of Friuli Venezia Giulia that crosses urban contexts and social housing areas through four residencies in Udine, Trieste, Pordenone and Gorizia.

The duo Ucci Ucci (multimedia performance), Irene Von Dorigotti (documentary), Giulia Cerrato with FAMU (urban exploration & urban hacking) and Cora Gasparotti (dance and new technologies) will be the four artistic curators invited to explore, observe, get in touch with local communities, up to a moment of celebration open to the public to share the stories collected.
