LIFE IS ON STAGE

English:An exciting journey through the potential of theatre as a tool for inclusion, collective growth and audience participation in theatre making.
The event will be held with the artistic sponsorship of the Unione Italia Libero Teatro (UILT) as part of the Teatro Di Ricerca e Sperimentale and Teatro Terapeutico projects, directed by psychiatrist Ermanno Gioacchini, vice president of the organization that has 16,000 members and almost 900 companies.
The Piccolo Teatro di Monfalcone proposes "LA VITA È SUL PALCO", a theatrical event focused on integrated theatre which features, in addition to its own actors, people with disabilities and the fundamental participation of the public, to be held in the city of Gorizia.
The project is based on the successful experience carried out on 11 December 2024 at the Teatro Comunale Marlena Bonezzi in Monfalcone, where the Company, together with the boys of the Association "Oltre Quella Sedia", presented the show.
The performance, entitled "PIRANDESTAIN", constructed as a family album with dynamic and static moments, explored the encounter between Luigi Pirandello and Albert Einstein, intertwining Einstein's conceptions of "space and time" with Pirandello's reflection on the "I" in a unique and original script. The rich scenography was the work of the artist Enzo Mari.
"LIFE IS ON STAGE" intends to demonstrate a fundamental concept: everyone can contribute and realize themselves artistically, for the benefit of the entire community.
The event fits perfectly into the spirit of GO!2025, promoting cross-border cultural integration and breaking down barriers between artists and audiences, between people with and without disabilities.
RELEVANCE FOR GO!2025 Italian: The proposal aligns perfectly with GO!2025’s mission to create cross-border connections and break down cultural and social boundaries.
Integrated theatre represents a powerful tool for inclusion that overcomes linguistic, cultural and physical barriers, promoting a universal message of participation and shared creativity.
The choice of Gorizia as the venue for the event underlines the symbolic importance of this project: right in the heart of the European Capital of Culture 2025, an initiative that breaks down the boundaries between different people, abilities and cultures.
The event will contribute to building cultural projects across the Italian-Slovenian territory, stimulating the practice of "good culture" in all its expressions.
