INTERNATIONAL FORUM: Sustainable and Digital Transition for Creativity

The international forum on artificial intelligence and the sustainable digital transition in the cultural and creative sectors will address the ethical, environmental, and social impacts of the digital transition and the AI use in the cultural and creative sectors.

The International Forum on Artificial Intelligence and the Sustainable Digital Transition in the Cultural and Creative Sectors will take place on 8 October 2025, as part of the cross-border film festival Poklon viziji / Tribute to a Vision in Gorizia (IT).

The event will address the ethical, environmental, and social impacts of the digital transition and the use of AI in the cultural and creative sectors.

Organised by Motovila (Creative Europe Desk Slovenia) in partnership with the European network of Creative Europe Desks and Kinoatelje, the forum will serve as the concluding event of the Go Green Cinema project within the European Capital of Culture 2025 programme.

The event will host renowned international experts from various fields of culture and creativity. The keynote speaker opening the forum will be Dr. Angus Finney, an internationally renowned author, researcher, and lecturer, considered one of the most influential thinkers at the intersection of the film and AV sectors and artificial intelligence.

The Go Green Cinema – GGC project is funded by the European Union through the Small Project Fund GO! 2025 of the Interreg VI-A Italy–Slovenia 2021–2027 programme, managed by the EGTC GO.
