I, the undersigned. Testaments of great Italians and Slovenians.

I, the undersigned. Testaments of great Italians and Slovenians.

History, literature, politics, theater, business, and religion revisited through the last wishes of figures such as Cavour, Garibaldi, De Nicola, Manzoni, D'Annunzio, Pirandello, Verdi, Caruso, and Pope John XXIII.

These are some of the names of the great figures who shaped Italian history, whose last wills have been rediscovered by the Notaries and made available to the general public through the exhibition: "I, the undersigned here. Testaments of great Italians"—produced by the National Council of Notaries—a collection of documents that narrates Italy from a unique perspective, that of the wills of politicians, entrepreneurs, and artists who have made our country great.

Thanks to the collaboration with the Notarial Council of Gorizia and the National Council of Notaries of Slovenia, after a tour that took it to 18 cities, the exhibition will also come to Gorizia from November 7 to 30, enriched by the wills of local figures, such as Countess Nicoletta and Count Guglielmo Coronini Cronberg, Biagio Marin, Andreina Nicoloso Ciceri, Cardinal Giacomo or Jakob Missia, Archbishop Francesco or Frančišek Borgia Sedej, as well as an illustrious Slovenian personality, bishop and writer Anton Martin Slomšek.

For the occasion, the exhibition's title will be changed to "I, the undersigned. Testaments of great Italians and Slovenians."
