A journey through history, art and European nobility

Throughout three centuries- 1500-1800- the Cobenzls tied their name at a faithful service of the Habsburg achieving outstanding results in politics, state administration and diplomacy. They were generous patrons of the arts and the artists. As a testimony of their prestige they built or restored imposing mansions and castles in the numerous estates and seigneuries they acquired in western Carniola and in the County of Gorizia
