Ghost

GHOST The video project Ghost, born from the collaboration between the painter Paola Gasparotto and the musician Elisa Ornella, is inspired by the dramatic consequences of climate change, trying to raise awareness and bring back to the present a scenario as possible as it is surreal: the complete melting of the glaciers.

Ghost is a multimedia project born from the collaboration between visual artist Paola Gasparotto and musician Elisa Ornella.

It draws inspiration from the dramatic consequences of climate change, aiming to raise awareness and bring into the present a scenario as plausible as it is surreal: the complete melting of the glaciers.

Project presentation by Silvia Stefanelli, founder of GaiaLab, expert for the Technical Scientific Committee on Climate for the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, and panelist for the European Commission on climate change mitigation.

Ghost continues an artistic exploration of environmental themes that began in 2020 with a series of works titled Hiku (meaning “ice” in the Eskaleut language), dedicated to the book On Time and Water by A.S. Magnason, and followed in 2024 by the Time of Change series, focused on the loss of the “great white giants.”
