FREEVOICES SHOW CHOIR - VOICES WITHOUT BORDERS
Voices without borders, in the spirit of GO!2025, is the title of the recital by Freevoices, the well-known group directed by Manuela Marussi, fresh from their recent trip to Spain where they won the coveted Grand Prix at the Chorus Inside international competition in Lloret de Mar (Barcelona).
The audience is taken on a journey to imaginary places of music and words, different lands and cultures. Musicals and pop, folk songs and singer-songwriter songs alternate to tell stories of peace, freedom, women, overcoming boundaries and respect for the earth.
Everything is sung and at the same time interpreted through choreography that offers intense moments of lightness and emotion. The voice of Paola Aiello (Kepler 452 - UBU Award 2023) weaves the narrative thread in a collection of powerful and provocative lyrics.
During the evening, they are accompanied by Gianni Del Zotto on piano, Laura Grandi on violin, Francesco Pandolfo on percussion, Riccardo Pitacco on bass and Karim Tavani on guitars. The choreography is by Marco Rigamonti of the Accademia del Teatro Litta in Milan.
