Film Walk "LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!: CROSS-BORDER FILM LOCATIONS"

Film Walk "LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!: CROSS-BORDER FILM LOCATIONS"

A spring Sunday morning in good company: film stories, a stroll through the two Gorizias, and coffee together.

The last walk of the Nostro cine domenicale cycle is part of the èStoria festival program.

We'll start with a sweet breakfast prepared at BorGO Cinema by Chincaglieria Gastronomica and continue with director Otto Lazić-Reuschel's short film "Nobody Will Believe It."

We will then set off on a guided tour during which we will discover the behind-the-scenes stories of films and series shot in Gorizia and Nova Gorica.

On the walk: "Action!: Cross-border film locations" Gorizia and Nova Gorica have a unique history that has often been told through the language of cinema from different perspectives.

Strolling through their streets also means discovering how films and series have depicted this frontier territory. Not only real stories, but also fictional ones are increasingly choosing these locations for their beauty and uniqueness.

On this walk, we'll hunt for Gorizia locations featured in films and TV series. The short film "Nessuno ci crederà" (Nobody Will Believe It), by Otto Lazić-Reuschel (2025), is set in Gorizia, 1930. The OND cameraman's gaze shows us the regime's marches and the celebrations. Imagining his thoughts, we immerse ourselves in his insecurities and his surrender to silent dissent. The images endure, and continue to tell the story of a time that still stands. Registration is available by email at bearzi.martina@kinoatelje.it or by WhatsApp at +39 392 0866882. In your message, please indicate: number of participants, language of the walk, and whether you're also booking breakfast.
