Dance Thread: Tactile-Movement Thread

Dance Thread: Tactile-Movement Thread

Movement-tactile and experiential workshop for the whole family.

Under the textile installation by artist Eta Sadar Breznik, children and adults will be guided by choreographer Ajda Tomazin. The event combines a dance-movement workshop and a performative experience into a complete artistic event – a workformance, designed for both children and parents.

The fabric breathes, sways in the air, and ripples through the light.
We will enter its flow, observe it, feel it, and capture it through movement. Every motion will be like a thread connecting us – to the air, the space, and ourselves.

Through movement, we will weave the story of Eta Sadar’s exhibition, draw it on paper, and inscribe it into space with our bodies. Colors will flow across our hands, and the dance will imprint itself onto our clothes. Let a part of the creative process remain with you – as a memory, an experience, a shared moment of motion.

The workshop will take place on Friday, 20 June, and Saturday, 21 June 2025, at the Rotunda of SNG Nova Gorica. Families, children, parents, and everyone wishing to step into a vivid, sensory experience through movement, art, and play are warmly invited.
