CONFCOMMERCIO GORIZIA PRESENTS THE STORYTELLING BENCHES, AN URBAN STORY SPACE IN THE HEART OF GORIZIA

CONFCOMMERCIO GORIZIA PRESENTS THE STORYTELLING BENCHES, AN URBAN STORY SPACE IN THE HEART OF GORIZIA

On Friday, July 18 at 7:00 PM, in Borgo Castello (Gorizia), Confcommercio Gorizia presents the Storytelling Benches: four artistic benches inspired by Gorizia’s nature, history, tradition, and gastronomy. The benches were created by artists Damjan Komel, Lara Steffe, Stefano Comelli, and Paolo Figar.

The event includes two guided walks with the artists and the unveiling of the benches, each equipped with a QR code linking to multimedia content, interviews, and animations curated by Associazione Examina. The evening continues with an aperitif and jazz concert on Via Rastello featuring Lorena Favot and Massimo Zemolin.

President Gianluca Madriz highlights the project as a moment of community and urban renewal: “These benches are works of art, but more importantly, they are places for people to meet and share.” Director Monica Paoletich adds: “It’s a creative and accessible way to tell the story of Gorizia’s identity.”

The project is part of La Via del BorGO, funded by the PNRR Bando Borghi, in collaboration with Associazione Prologo and Associazione Examina. Free and open to all.
