The conference “Beyond the Eightieth Anniversary: Assessments, Critical Issues, and Perspectives in the Historiography of the Italian Resistance” is organized by the Istituto Friulano per la Storia del Movimento di Liberazione, in collaboration with the Fondazione Friuli in Udine, which is providing its conference hall to host the event.

The conference aims to reflect on the state of historiographical research on the Italian Resistance in the aftermath of its eightieth anniversary, focusing on new lines of inquiry, emerging methodologies, and the challenges involved in transmitting historical memory.
