Jazz River 2025 Matthias Bartolomey: cello – Klemens Bittmann: violin, mandola

For ten years, the duo BartolomeyBittmann has been developing a progressive repertoire created exclusively for instruments rooted in the classical tradition.

From the very beginning, they have composed original works, exploring innovative techniques for cello, violin and mandola. 

Their style combines powerful rock riffs, frenetic virtuosity, visceral grooves and tender melodies, always remaining faithful to acoustic authenticity.

Conceived as a long-term project, the duo continuously refines its musical expression. 

The new program zehn celebrates their tenth anniversary with pieces born during the lockdown.
