Brussels Heritage Days - The neoclassical building, Office of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, will be open to the public on Rue du Commerce
Inside the neoclassical building at Rue du Commerce 49, featuring meticulously and philologically restored spaces, guests will be taken on a symbolic journey through the diverse landscape of this distinctive region, nestled between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea in northeastern Italy. The area is home to both the first cross-border European Capital of Culture (GO!2025) and the upcoming Italian Capital of Culture (Pordenone, 2027). At the historic Orangerie, visitors will have the opportunity to discover cultural and touristic routes, as well as gain insight into the knowledge and skills of the local design industry. Brussels Citizens and visitors are invited to visit this building, located next to the renowned Atelier Marcel Hastir (Rue du Commerce 51) in the heart of the vibrant European Quarter, and to discover its history, significance, and timeless beauty in the midst of a fast-changing, modern urban environment.
