Gianni Della Libera: piano – Alberto Della Libera: graphic and pictorial creations

The performance is built on a vibrant dialogue between music, graphics and painting: while a pianist performs live a selection of works by Keith Jarrett, Johann Sebastian Bach, György Ligeti, Béla Bartók and Arnold Schönberg, an artist simultaneously creates graphic and pictorial works in real time.

The pieces, short and strongly characterized, stand out for their expressive variety, making them ideal to accompany and inspire the pictorial action. 

The result is a dynamic interplay between sound and image, where the musical gesture and the visual one intertwine in a narrative that takes shape before the eyes of the audience.
