A Talk with the Artist Tatsuo Miyajima
A conversation with one of Japan's leading contemporary artists, Tatsuo Miyajima.
Between 7 and 9 October, several events will take place as part of the Revive Time: Kaki Tree Project.
Tatsuo Miyajima will present his project Revive Time: Kaki Tree Project and his work at the Academy of Arts in Nova Gorica on 7 October 2025 at 15:45.
Tatsuo Miyajima is one of Japan's most renowned contemporary artists. In 1996, he started an international art project in collaboration with tree healer Dr Masayuki Ebinuma, who rescued seeds from the fruit of the kaki tree that survived the nuclear bombing of Nagasaki.
