The national minorities of the Slovenians in Italy and the Friulians of FVG will be organizers of the 4th NATIONS CUP international tournament, which will be held in Gorizia on the occasion of GO!2025 Nova Gorica - Gorizia European Capital of Culture.

The tournament will also take place under the banner of Europeada, the European Championship of the autochthonous, national minorities in Europe, which will be held in Friuli-Venezia Giulia in 2028. The 4th NATIONS CUP will take place from 13 to 15 June 2025 at the Enzo Bearzot Stadium, in via Capodistria 6 and on the Sant'Andrea sports field, in via Del Carso 57, in Gorizia.

6 teams (Selection of the Slovenes in Italy, Selection of the Friulians, Selection of MNZ NOVA GORICA (SLO), Team Koroška (AUT), FIGC LND FVG U19, Selection of the Ladins) will take part in the tournament, which will be played under the patronage of the FIGC LND. The teams will be divided into two groups of three teams each. The group stage will be played with the triangular formula of three halves of 45' each, the finals with regular matches of 90' each, possibly followed by penalty kicks. The tournament also includes a friendly women's football match, an awards ceremony and a cultural evening with music and dancing. The last day will be dedicated to visiting and promoting the beauties of the European Capital of Culture, Gorizia – Nova Gorica 2025.
