45th International Violin Competition RODOLFO LIPIZER PRIZE
The 45th RODOLFO LIPIZER International Violin Competition will be held from 5 to 13 September 2026, with a registration deadline of 30 April 2026. All auditions (solo violin, violin and piano, and violin and orchestra) will take place at the Kulturni center Lojze Bratuž theatre - Viale XX Settembre, 85 - 34170 GORIZIA (Italy).
The 45th RODOLFO LIPIZER International Violin Competition attracts violinists from all over the world thanks to its reputation and the opportunity it offers to launch a successful career. The jury is international and rewards talents who excel in a repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary music (each year, a piece is composed specifically for the competition by the president of the previous year's jury), demonstrating skills in interpretation, technique (tackling the complexity of Rodolfo Lipizer's studies for solo violin) and dialogue with the piano and orchestra. The best violinists who have demonstrated their talent are awarded prizes.Accessibility
