3rd Regional Conference on Genealogy FVG

“Memory, Territories, Identity: Genealogy Between Archives, Borders, and the Digital Future” A powerful summary of what happens when the search for personal origins intertwines with the history of territories and the institutions that preserve their traces.

Particular attention will be paid to the multilingual and multicultural reality of the Upper Adriatic, the role of public and ecclesiastical archives, and the challenges posed today by digitization and the use of new technologies.

Speakers and Content The program includes presentations by regional and national experts from a variety of fields: history, archives, conservation, and digital genealogy.

Luca Caburlotto – Superintendent of Archives for Friuli Venezia Giulia: “The Role of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Archival Superintendency”
