22nd Tabor Musical Evenings

Tabor Musical Evenings are a special event held in the village of Tabor above Dornberk in the Vipava Valley.

Tabor Musical Evenings offer an opportunity to enjoy exceptional performances by top-level choirs singing simultaneously at multiple locations. As part of GO! 2025, Tabor Musical Evenings provide a unique chance to explore the rich cultural heritage of the region and to enjoy outstanding artistic experiences. The cultural events are enriched by tastings of exceptional wines from local winemakers and a rich accompanying cultural program.

Performing choirs:

  • Slovenian Philharmonic Choir (Artistic Director: Sebastjan Vrhovnik),
  • Ljubljana Vocal Academy (Artistic Directors: Ana and Tine Bec)
  • Coro Natissa di Aquileia (Conductor: Maestro Luca Bonutti),
  • Emil Komel Mixed Youth Choir (Choir Conductor: David Bandelj)

Program:

  • 14:00–19:00: Ex-tempore Workshop Italy–Slovenia,
  • 19:00: Opening of the Wine Tasting with th best local winemakers,
  • 19:00: exhibition of Works from the Ex-tempore Workshop,
  • 20:30: Evening of Choral Music,
  • 22:00: Solstice Bonfire at Šantaneli,
  • 23:00: Let’s Sing Together.
