Border Harmonies – Armonie di Confine
The choral project Armonie di Confine unites choirs from both sides of the border.
The choral concert project entitled Armonie di Confine (Border Harmonies) was created under the patronage of the Union of Choral Societies of the Gorizia Province in Italy (USCI GO). The project aims to encourage and strengthen cultural cooperation and cross-border connections in the year of the European Capital of Culture.
The first concert will take place at Cerje, in the Peace Memorial, on Wednesday, 1 October, at 8:00 PM. The event will also serve as the opening of the municipal holiday celebrations of Miren–Kostanjevica. A second concert with the same program will follow in Monfalcone (Tržič), Italy.
The evening, dedicated to music and cross-border connections, will feature performances by:
