A glimpse into the present through cinema: this is the perspective at the heart of “Deutsches Kino in Görz,” the mini-festival promoted by the multilingual cultural association Kulturhaus Görz in collaboration with the Kinemax in Piazza Vittoria.
On Tuesday 24 March at 8.30 pm, “Das Lehrerzimmer – The Teachers’ Room” (2023) by director İlker Çatak will be screened.
The film offers a tense and engaging story that, starting from the educational context, gradually expands to the social and legal sphere, highlighting the fragility of institutions and the weight of individual choices. The film highlights how it is often the tensions and ambitions of adults that generate and amplify conflicts, dragging students along with them into a spiral that is difficult to stop.
Tickets cost 8 euros. A reduced ticket price of 6 euros is available to Kulturhaus Görz members.
