On Friday, March 20th, at 5:30 pm, in conjunction with the exhibition "Franco Basaglia. Where Eyes Couldn't See," the Sala Incontri of the Santa Chiara Museum, at Corso Verdi 18, will host a talk with Susanna Berengo Gardin, curator and head of the archive of Gianni Berengo Gardin, one of the most important Italian photographers of the 20th century.

Where Eyes Couldn't See," the Sala Incontri of the Santa Chiara Museum, at Corso Verdi 18, will host a talk with Susanna Berengo Gardin, curator and head of the archive of Gianni Berengo Gardin, one of the most important Italian photographers of the 20th century.
Among the most significant chapters of his production is the documentation of the world of psychiatry linked to the experience of Franco Basaglia: images that powerfully conveyed the conditions of Italian mental hospitals and accompanied the process of change culminating in the reform introduced by Law 180.
Gianni Berengo Gardin's photographs are exhibited alongside those of Raymond Depardon and Ferdinando Scianna in the Gorizia exhibition, open daily from 10 am to 6 pm.
