It is with this message that Nova Gorica and Gorizia have won the title of European Capital of Culture 2025, and it is in the same spirit that representatives of five of the region's major religious organizations—Christian Catholic, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, and Christian Methodist—have decided to gather around a table to share a common path, where respect for the diversity of others becomes a value to be promoted and defended.

With the coordination and organizational and financial support of the Municipality of Gorizia, "Terre di Pace" was born, a religious workshop that from Wednesday, October 29th to Sunday, November 2nd will bring various initiatives to the city, culminating in the drafting of the "Gorizia Manifesto for Dialogue and Peace."

The Forum will be opened on Wednesday the 29th by Paolo Mieli: at 8:30 pm at the Auditorium della Cultura Friulana, at Via Roma 23, the journalist and essayist will speak on "The Role of Religions in the Wars of Yesterday and Today."
