The retrospective “East Vzhod/West Zahod – The Border in Cinema and History” opens on Thursday, April 10. Kinoatelje aims to explore the history of the border region between Slovenia and Italy through a rich selection of films made from the post-World War II period to the present day.
The retrospective “East Vzhod/West Zahod – The Border in Cinema and History” opens on Thursday, April 10. Kinoatelje aims to explore the history of the border region between Slovenia and Italy through a rich selection of films made from the post-World War II period to the present day.
The program will feature films by established filmmakers such as Franco Giraldi, Luigi Zampa, France Štiglic, Jože Babič, Matjaž Klopčič, Karpo Godina, and Želimir Žilnik, as well as works by a new generation of filmmakers, including Gregor Božič, Anja Medved, Matteo Oleotto, Alberto Fasulo, Laura Samani, Elisabetta Sgarbi, and others.
