"Almost every day," recalls the minister, Count de Montbel, "Charles X passed through the city and strolled in the surrounding area, sometimes for long distances."
Starting from this memory, we invite you on a charming evening stroll through the heart of Gorizia, following in the footsteps of King Charles X during his exile.
We will begin at Palazzo Coronini, his final resting place, and walk together through some of the streets of the historic center, discovering the places frequented by the royal family and their entourage.
Accompanied by Micaela Grossa, a regional guide, and Cristina Bragaglia of the Palazzo Coronini Cronberg Foundation, we will listen to stories, curiosities, and anecdotes related to the palaces and corners of the city that often escape even the most expert eyes.
