Participatory Workshop – Exhibition “Constant Contemporaneity. Pop Art”

Imagining the MAN - Special exhibition "Contemporaneity Constant. Pop Art." Join us on Thursday, September 10th at 5:30 pm at the National Archaeological Museum of Aquileia to imagine new ways of narrating our heritage.

The exhibition "Contemporaneità Costante. Pop Art" invites visitors to observe, imagine, and create meaningful connections between works of American and Italian pop art and the artifacts from the museum's archaeological collection. The activity "IMAGINING MAN" is an opportunity to get together, discuss, and become curators of our own.

It will be a visit to the exhibition and at the same time an afternoon of dialogue, participation and fun!

Suitable for everyone. Duration: approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

CONSTANT CONTEMPORANEITY. POP ART. A surprising dialogue between the collection of the National Archaeological Museum of Aquileia and a selection of international and Italian Pop Art works, from Andy Warhol to Roy Lichtenstein, from Mario Schifano to Tano Festa, is at the heart of the curatorial project for the contemporary art exhibition inaugurated on Friday, July 10, at the MAN in Aquileia. The exhibition is promoted by the Fondazione Syncretika – Arte e Cultura ETS and co-designed with the National Archaeological Museum of Aquileia, with the contribution of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, the support of the Fondazione Aquileia, and the patronage of the Municipality of Aquileia. The exhibition will be open to the public at the National Archaeological Museum of Aquileia from July 10 to September 27, 2026, during the usual opening hours of 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
