Republic Day: Special museum openings!
On Monday, June 1st and Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026, to mark the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic, the National Archaeological Museum of Aquileia and the National Museum of Underwater Archaeology of the Upper Adriatic will be open. On Tuesday, June 2nd, admission to all state museums will be free.
National Archaeological Museum of Aquileia: open 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, last admission 6:00 pm
National Museum of Underwater Archaeology of the Upper Adriatic in Grado: open 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, last admission 6:30 pm.
