On June 12, 13, and 14, for the European Archaeological Days, Aquileia comes alive with open days at its archaeological sites and excavation sites, special openings, guided tours, experimental archaeology, and music.

THE XRCulture PROJECT AND ITS APPLICATIONS: 3D DIGITIZATION FOR MUSEUMS

Presentation day of the results of the European XRCulture project. XRculture is a European project that uses new technologies such as artificial intelligence and extended reality (XR) to create high-quality 3D models, immersive experiences, and innovative tools for understanding cultural heritage in museums and cultural institutions across Europe. The project is a collaboration between the Ministry of Culture and the ICCD (Central Institute for Cataloguing and Documentation) and boasts the participation of numerous Italian and international partners, who will discuss and present the results of their work to the public today.
