8 March - International Women's Day

On Saturday 8 March, on the occasion of International Women's Day, admission to state museums and cultural sites will be free for women.

The National Archaeological Museum of Aquileia will be open and can be visited from 10 am to 7 pm, with the bookshop and ticket office closing at 6 pm.

Several related initiatives are scheduled at the MAN in Aquileia during the week: on Thursday 6 March, at 5.15 pm, Mariangela Galatea Vaglio will present her latest book: ‘Aphrodite. The Truth of the Goddess', while on Sunday afternoon, at 3.30 p.m., a thematic itinerary entitled “A proposito di femminile” (About the feminine) is scheduled by the museum's Educational Service.
