9th HIKE ALONG THE PATH OF PEACE

Hike along the World War I trails in Brda.

THE LOCAL ASSOCIATION OF WAR VETERANS FOR SLOVENIA – BRDA, THE INSTITUTE FOR TOURISM, CULTURE, YOUTH AND SPORTS BRDA, and THE MUNICIPALITY OF BRDA CORDIALLY INVITE YOU to the 9th OZVVS Brda Hike along the Path of Peace from the First World War in the Municipality of Brda, which will take place on May 17, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM.

The meeting point is the parking area on the access road to Sabotin in Gonjače. The hike is easy and follows both paved roads and mountain trails. The route leads through walking paths in the Brda region. Participants will stop at several points to learn about the war history from 111 years ago and discover sights of eastern Brda.

The trail is 7–8 km long and follows the route: START AT THE PARKING AREA ON THE ACCESS ROAD TO SABOTIN (GONJAČE) – MLAKE, TOURIST FARM PRI BREGARJU – PODSABOTIN – (VIA OLD ROAD) TO HUM.

Food and drinks will be provided, but you're welcome to bring your own refreshments from your backpack.
