The Path of the 44 Votive Chapels: Stage 6

Hike the Path of the 44 Votive Chapels from Scrutto to Tribil di Sopra: a journey through nature and history with visits to three chapels.

Meeting place: Scrutto, San Leonardo Municipality – at the village fountain Tour guide: Antonio De Toni - ASSOGUIDE environmental hiking guide and local history expert With this sixth stage, we continue our journey along the Way of the 44 Votive Churches, which will take us step by step to discover the entire route. You will be accompanied by the person who designed the Way. Three of the most interesting chapels on the entire route are concentrated in this stage, which is neither too long nor too difficult. It first takes place on the beautiful meadows of the ridge that divides the Cosizza Valley from the Erbezzo Valley, then enters the woods and winds its way near the ridge until it reaches the village of Tribil di Sopra. We will visit the votive churches of Sant'Antonio Abate, Sant'Andrea and Santa Lucia - length 9.9 km, elevation gain approx. + 620 m/– 150 m. Program 08:30 – Meeting point at Scrutto, Municipality of San Leonardo, by the village fountain. 17:00 – Arrival in Tribil di Sopra   ORGANISATIONAL NOTES: Packed lunch to be provided by participants. The excursion will take place on trails that do not present any mountaineering difficulties, but walking training is still required. The route winds along roads and trails. Four-legged friends are welcome, provided they are trained to coexist with the public. The route is not a loop, so the return to Scrutto will be by 8-seater minibuses provided by the organisation.
