Tamara Mihalič is an intermedial artist based in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Tamara Mihalič was born in Koper in 1995. After graduating from the Koper Art School, she continued her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, where she earned a master's degree in the Department of Video, New Media, and Animation. Her master's thesis focused on women's reproductive health and women's rights.

His work often focuses on the contemporary struggle of the subject, on space, and on the subject's behavior within that space. He also addresses issues related to marginalized groups, such as the LGBT+ community, and works with young people with fewer opportunities, thus combining two different worlds. His works frequently include humorous and absurdist elements.

She has collaborated with festivals such as Festival on the City Walls in Piran, Lightning Guerrilla, and Capital of Culture GO25. She is active in the ŠKUC association, where she has collaborated on the projects Presence of Movement, Haphazard Reruns, and Inclusive Culture for All. She is also involved in youth information and counseling.

He has exhibited at the Coast Galleries, the Jakopič Gallery, the Centre for Contemporary Art in Celje, the Layers House in Kranj, Carinarnica in Nova Gorica, the City Museum in Ljubljana, the City Gallery in Ptuj, the Cukrarna Palace, the ZDSLU Gallery in Ljubljana and in one of the exhibition spaces of the Municipality of Ljubljana.

Last June, she was a resident in the Slovenian Ministry of Culture's Artist in Residency program in London. She is currently preparing her work for the Independent Artists' Biennial at Kino Šiška in Ljubljana.
