We were most convinced by a group of young people named #Bioneers from North Macedonia.
At the competition, which took place at the 6th EUSAIR Annual Forum in Portorož and was organized by Primorski tehnološki park with high school and university students from 9 countries of the Adriatic-Ionian region, our team had the honor of awarding the first #Borderless prize.
We were most convinced by a group of young people named #Bioneers from North Macedonia. They envisioned farms where worms turn styrofoam into fertilizer – #innovative, “out of the box” thinking with a 360-degree approach. The idea transcends the boundaries between ecology and food, between industry and agriculture. It creates a sustainable #solution that benefits everyone to solve a common problem – reflecting the meaning of the European Capital of Culture.
Award: 3 #borderless days in both Goricas and participation at X-mobile (mobile platform), based on artistic #thinking and part of the cultural and artistic program of the European Capital of Culture, which will be developed within the new center of creative practices Ekscenter in Nova Gorica.
