Call for Assistant CEO Position

GO! 2025 is introducing a new position of Assistant to the CEO for Cross-border Cooperation.

Job description: 

• Propose decisions to the CEO relating to his/her area of work.
• Ensure effective communication with partners in the Municipality of Gorizia and the Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
• Administer the cooperation contract between the institution and the main partner: the European Grouping for Territorial Cooperation (EGTC GO).
• Oversee the implementation of the cross-border cultural strategy.
• Provide advice to the Programme Manager and the CEO on the execution of cross-border activities.
• Perform other tasks as delegated by the CEO and in accordance with institutional regulations.  

Job responsibilities:

• Effective management and efficient operation of tasks.
• Professional performance of work duties.
• Efficient utilization of the Institute's resources.
• Implementation of adopted annual plans.
• Pursuing continuous education, further training, and development as needed.

Work details:

• Working time: full-time, with flexitime options.
• Place of work: primarily at the premises of the Public Institute and/or the EGTC GO partner organization, with occasional work in other venues in Slovenia and abroad as required for work tasks.

Requirements:

• University degree (previous).
• A least specialisation in higher professional education (previous).
• Master's degree (2nd Bologna cycle).
• Master's degree in higher professional education (previous).
• Work experience requirement: minimum of 5 years in the field relevant to the Institute's operations.

Additional qualifications required:

• Ability to organize and manage artistic and professional work effectively.
• Basic proficiency in Slovenian language.
• Advanced proficiency in English language.

Functional skills required:

• Basic computer skills in MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong mentoring abilities.

• Probationary Period: Not applicable.
• Notice Period: 60 days.
