The idea of distance is deeply ingrained in today's society and is widely acknowledged. It involves both social and physical distancing, resulting in individuals feeling disconnected on physical, social, mental, and spiritual levels. With modern lifestyles and the widespread use of digital technology, face-to-face interactions are becoming less frequent, less fulfilling, and more structured. However, the current dance performance doesn't shy away from these social issues. Through dance, it explores the essence of human existence – closeness. It celebrates the intimacy of the body, connections with others, collaboration, and our relationship with the world and the planet we call home.

With an international cast of dancers, MN Dance Company, in collaboration with SNG Nova Gorica, will embody the theme of unity and connection, transcending any barriers, which Nova Gorica embraces as the European Capital of Culture in 2025.
